India defeated Afghanistan by 8 wickets with 106 balls to spare
Indian opening pair has scored a 121 partnership to help their side seal a comprehensive victory over Afghanistan.
They reached 100 in just 21 overs. Both the openers Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane made fifties.
Afghanistan have scored 159 runs all-out in 45.2 overs in their last Asia Cup match against India at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday.
Indian spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Ravindrachandran Ashwin took seven wickets to restrict the Afghan innings within such a poor total.
Samiullah Shenwari was the top scorer in the Afgan total with a fifty off 73 deliveries.
India won the toss and sent Afghanistan into bat.
Both the teams along with Bangladesh are out of the tournament. Sri Lanka will play against Pakistan in the final match on 8th march at Mirpur.
