Imran H Sarker picked up by Rab

Gonojagoron Mancha spokesperson Imran H Sarker was picked up by the members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) from Dhaka’s Shahbagh area this afternoon.

Imran was picked up from Shahbagh area around 4:15pm, Maj Abdullah Al Mehedi, deputy director of Rab’s media wing, told The Daily Star.

Imran is now in Rab custody, the Rab official said. He, however, did not mention the reasons behind his detention.
