The BNP leader never feels comfortable when the people of the country are in a good state, says PM
Prime minister Sheikh Hasina said if BNP chief Khaleda Zia continues to threaten the government of ousting, I suspect she would not realise that she is losing her ground.
Also the ruling Awami League president Sheikh Hasina made this comment pointing to Khaleda Zia’s recent speech at the working committee meeting of the party at the Ganabhaban on Friday.
Sheikh Hasina said we have come to learn that Khaleda Zia makes threatening comments very frequently.
I would ask her to be aware whether she looses her ground from beneath her feet by making such comments, Hasina said.
She also said the BNP leader never feels comfortable when the people of the country are in a good state.
The prime minister said we should not let any destructive acts go about in the name of movement.
Neither will we spare anybody who would harm people, she said.
She warned they would be rightly replied.
The PM also urged to detect those would run terrorism and violence in the name of the movement.
Replying to Khaleda’s remark that the economic condition of the people are degrading, the PM said: Look at yourself, from where do you get these surprisingly valuable clothes and ornaments?
Hasina also said Khaleda Zia is holding public rallies and declaring the programs in a view to evade from appearing before the court.
The prime minister said being elected for the top posts of the two global organisations (IPU and CPA), Bangladesh has made world records in world history.
She said despite the achievement of the people of the country have made, those who made the political party with beneficiaries of the residuals of power couldn’t be happy.
Pointing to Khaleda Zia’s speech that said the government has no global recognition, the LGRD Minister and AL Secretary Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam said at the meeting that Khaleda Zia made this comment out of her own political ignorance.
