Govt misleading people about polls-time admin: BNP

BNP standing committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan on Saturday alleged that the government is misleading people about dialogue with the opposition by making contradictory remarks.

“On one hand they (govt) talk about dialogue and on the other say the election will be held as per the constitution. And again they say it’ll be held under an interim government. In fact, they’re totally confused about the election-time administration,” he told a discussion.

Jatiyatabadi Muktijuddher Prajanma arranged the programme at the National Press Club, marking BNP founder and former President Ziaur Rahman’s 32nd death anniversary.

Moyeen Khan alleged that the government is trying to cling to power through confusing people, fearing its debacle in the general election if it is held under a non-party administration.

He urged the government to create an environment for the dialogue and resolve the political crisis through discussions.

The BNP leader termed the proposed budget a lame-duck effort and said it will not bring any good for people.

  1. MORE JAMAAT LEADERS JAILED & FINED BY THE KANGAROO COURT. THE VICTIMS ONLY EXPRESSED THEIR FEAR LIKE MOST OTHER PEOPLE OF A CIVIL WAR. This cannot be a “crime”.
This kind of uncivilised vindictiveness & political oppression using the entire state machineries as political tools do not exist in any democratic civilised country but in Awami-Atheist run Bangladesh. Jamaat-e-Islami, country’s biggest Islamic party represents 18 million voters and they are everywhere. Some of them are as young as 30 years old who knew nothing of the civil war of 1971 and has got nothing to do with Pakistan. This fact cannot be ignored. Wishing THE Jamaat to disappear from Bangla political arena because it wants Islamic government is absolutely unrealistic. And we are not “JAMAAT-E-ISLAMI to be condemned and insulted by the Awamis & their communist cohorts as “ ENEMIES OF THE STATE”!
Hatred is the most essential ingredient of the ruling party that is run by a gang of thugs who even have not got the capacity to speak normally and rationally using political vocabulary but keep on shouting while speaking inside or outside parliament. (1)—
