Rezwanul Azad Rana
Fugitive plotter of blogger Ahmed Rajib Haider murder, Rezwanul Azad Rana, who has been awarded death sentence by a trial court, was arrested at Uttara in Dhaka on Monday.
The counter terrorism unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested Rana and another extremist Ashraf at around 2:00pm, police said.
Rajib was hacked to death in front of his house at Palashnagar of Pallabi in February 2013 when widespread protests erupted demanding maximum punishment for war criminals.
A trial court on December 31, 2015 handed down death sentence for Rana.
