The fire that broke out at the cargo village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport was doused on Friday afternoon.
Fire Service sources said the fire originated at the cargo village of the airport around 12 pm.
On information, 10 firefighting units rushed in and doused the flame around 3:50 pm.
It’s not still clear what actually caused the fire.
Meanwhile, Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh and Fire Service and Civil Defence formed two separate panels to investigate the fire incident.
The Fire Service formed a three-member committee, led by its deputy director (Operation) Bharat Chandra Biswash.
Two other members of the committees are deputy assistant director Mamun Mahmud and station officer Komolesh Chandra Mondol.
