Ex-AL leader AMSA Amin joins Gono Forum

Former Awami League leader Major General (rtd) AMSA Amin has joined Gono Forum, a component of the opposition alliance Jatiya Oikyafront.

AMSA Amin officially joined Gono Forum this noon at the chamber of the party’s President Dr Kamal Hossain, Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports quoting Latiful Bari Hamim, an official of the media wing of Gono Forum.

Gono Forum Executive President Subrata Chowdhury, General Secretary Mostafa Mohsin Montu and Sultan Mohammad Monsur of Jatiya Oikya Prokriya were present among others when AMSA Amin joined Gono Forum.

AMSA Amin contested and failed in 2001 national polls as an Awami League candidate from Kurigram -2 constituency, reports Prothom Alo.
