Investigation Officer produced him before the court with a 7-day remand plea
A Dhaka court has granted two days of remand to Khaleda Zia’s Adviser Md Shamsuzzaman Dudu in a case filed for torching and vandalising vehicles in Mirpur.
Metropolitan Magistrate Muhammad Asaduzzaman Nur passed the order rejecting Dudu’s bail plea.
SI Syeed Md Asaduzzaman produced Dudu before the court on Wednesday noon with a seven-day remand plea which was filed on January 15.
Police picked up Dudufrom Mirpur area in Dhaka on January 11.
Later, he was shown arrested in the torching and vandalism case.
Mirpur police filed the case against JCD Mirpur unit President Mamun Hasan and 38 other leaders and activists of BNP and its youth and student wings under the Special Power Act for their alleged involvement in violence on December 28.
