Senior BNP leader ASM Hannan Shah is being taken to Singapore for treatment.
The former minister was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on Sep 6.
An air ambulance is expected to carry him to Singapore from the Dhaka airport late on Sunday, said the family.
“The air ambulance is expected to arrive around 10:30pm and we hope to fly by 12:30am,” son Shah Rezaul Hannan told bdnews24.com.
Hannan Shah will be admitted to the National Heart Foundation in Singapore, he added.
The 77-year-old former army brigadier general has been kept on life-support since he was admitted to the CMH.
