Known as someone who interferes in the team management’s processes, Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hassan was however happy when he was not allowed to meet players after the end of the practice match today.

Nazmul, while talking to reporters, said he was happy with the bio-secure arrangements being put in place currently despite the fact that it led to him being barred from meeting the cricketers.

Asked whether the measures were good enough to ensure that foreign teams would tour Bangladesh again, BCB president urged that most importantly cricket has to be brought back first.

“We want to bring back cricket in a secure way,” he said today while announcing a three-team 50-over tournament comprising national players, HP and selected members of the U-19 squad.

The players have been playing two-day practice matches while inside a bio-secure bubble with the second and final practice match ending today. The BCB president had wanted to meet the players but was not allowed access.
