Six Bangladeshi construction workers were trapped under a concrete slab after the fourth floor of a building under construction behind Hilton hotel here collapsed on Sunday morning.
Five workers have been rescued so far while efforts are underway to rescue the last remaining worker trapped in the rubble.
The building under construction is believed to be office suites and two-multi level parking blocks.
A spokesperson for Petaling Jaya Fire and Rescue department said they received a distress call at 10.12am.
The five rescued workers were immediately rushed to University Malaya Medical Center.
The sixth construction worker was brought out from the building at 3.05pm and is currently in critical condition.
