Human Rights Ambassador William Nicholas Gomes has warned Hifazat-e Islam chief Allama Ahmad Shafi to stop acting like a prostitute. William Nicholas Gomes said Allama Ahmad Shafi has been used by political forces like BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) and others in the name of Islam.
Mr. Gomes said, “you are no difference than other Pro ruling party Islamic scholars”. William Gomes said a dog is better than Allama Ahmad Shafi, because he is betraying and playing with the good faith of ordinary faithful Muslims of the country.
He said, “If you are planning to bring back the old system, why do so many people need to die and wait for another five years of havoc?”
