Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam said they would contact with the opposition leaders on Friday or Saturday to start the dialogue.
“We hope that we will reach a consensus over all matters to hold the next election in a free, fair and neutral manner,” Ashraf, also the LGRD and cooperatives minister, said hours after the prime minister urged the opposition leader for a dialogue on Thursday.
After inaugurating a guest house at the Officers’ Club premises in the capital, the minister said the dialogue would be held among the highest level leaderships of the two parties, if necessary.
