Jatiya Party (JP) chairman HM Ershad left here on Friday for Singapore on a five-day visit for ‘medical checkup’.
Commerce Minister and JP Presidium member GM Quader and Chairman’s personal secretary Maj (retd) M Khaled Akhter are accompanying him.
Ershad left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12:40pm in a Malaysian Airlines flight and is expected to return home on November 5, said a JP media release.
JP secretary general ABM Ruhul Amin Hawladar, presidium members Barrister Anisur Islam Mahmud and others saw Ershad off at the airport.
