Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up five Bangladeshi nationals along borders in Sunamganj and Thakurgaon districts on Sunday and Saturday night.
UNB Sunamganj Correspondent said: BSF members picked up four Bangladeshis when they were collecting woods along Laurergarh border in Tahirpur upazila on Saturday night.
Local BGB confirmed the matter.
The four Bangladeshis are Pahar Ali, 40, son of Asar Ali, Shukur Ali, son of Sanu Mia, Nayeb Ali, 50, son of Marjut Ali and Shahjahan Mia, 50, son of Helal Uddin of Moksedpur village in Tahirpur upazila.
UNB Thakurgaon Correspondent said: BSF jawans picked up a Bangladeshi along Dabri border in Haripur upazila on Sunday morning.
The victim was identified as Imani Hossain, 32, son of Abdur Rashid of Geuradangi village of the same upazila.
Commander of 30 Battalion BGB Lt. Colonel Abu Bakr said the BSF members of their Phulbari camp picked up Imani while he was going to India through the border at about 9 am.
