No chance to accept Oikyafront’s demand: Quader
There is no chance of accepting any of the demands placed by Jatiya Oikyafront, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said today.
“There is no scope for accepting any unconstitutional demands and it is not possible to amend the constitution now,” Quader said at a programme.
He further went on to comment that, Oikyafront’s demand for dialogue just days ahead of the announcement of polls schedule is “illogical, unreal and unnecessary.”
“There is no need for a dialogue. There is no such situation in the country that we need a dialogue. Now the situation is calm and peaceful now,” he said.
Quader, the road transport and bridges minister, was speaking to journalists in reply to queries by journalists at a program on National Road Safety Day at Krishibid Institute.
