Theatre troupe Prangonemor is going to celebrate its 12th founding anniversary and 154th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore through holding a show of its first production, ‘Shyama Prem’ on Sunday.
The play, a stage version of Tagore’s dance drama, ‘Shyama’, will see its 50th show at 7:00pm on Sunday at Experimental Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the city.
The first show of the play was held on 15 February, 2005.
Adapted by Chittaranjan Ghosh, the play has been directed by Ananta Hira.
