Some 130 Bangladeshi workers were sent back home from Saudi Arabia on Thursday night amid a crackdown on undocumented workers.
A flight of Saudi Airlines carrying the workers landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11:20pm, said Shariful Hasan, programme head of BRAC migration programme.
Some of the workers, who returned home last night, alleged that workers who have legal documents are also being detained by Saudi police, reports UNB.
The authorities concerned of BRAC migration programme provided necessary assistance, including food, to the Bangladeshi workers.
Earlier on 15 and 17 September, the Saudi Arabia authorities sent 175 and 160 Bangladeshi workers home.
