A total of 144 countries have nominated Bangladesh for the World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) Awards.
Now voting session is open. So cast your vote for Bangladesh and help it winning the prize.
WSIS Awards is a response to the requests of participants of WSIS Forum 2011 for a mechanism to evaluate and reward stakeholders in their ICT induced innovations endeavor.
In particular, they recognize the commitment and efforts of stakeholders – no matter how big or small – to use ICT as a powerful tool improve social inclusiveness and economic development.
The 18 prize categories are linked to the WSIS Action Lines outlined in the Geneva Plan of Action which is aimed at Information Society.
