Two Bangladeshis were killed while two others suffered injuries in an accident that involved three vehicles at the North South Expressway near Tapah in Malaysia on Monday morning.
The Bernama news agency said, during the 6.15am local time accident which involved a lorry, trailer and a car, Delowar Hossin Md Raju Miah, 31, was killed on the spot and Sumam Hossain Abdul Kashem, 28, died at the Tapah Hospital.
Another Bangladeshi, Alif Hossain Bahar Ali, 25, suffered a neck injury.
S Lechumanan, 34, the driver of the lorry that the three Bangladeshis were travelling in, fractured his hand when his lorry crashed into the rear of a trailer that was parked by the road side.
After crashing into the trailer, the national news agency said, the lorry lost control and swerved into another lane before crashing into another car.
Tapah police chief Supt Som Sak Din Keliaw said when the lorry crashed into the trailer, Delowar Hossin was thrown off the lorry while Sumam was pinned to the passengers seat.
The injured Alif Hossain who was initially admitted to the Tapah Hospital was later transferred to the Teluk Intan Hospital for treatment.
