With a score of 99.28 points Rajuk Uttara Model College sits on the top of 20 best-performing schools under Dhaka Board in this year’s SSC results.
Ideal School and College in Motijheel ( 98.58 points) and Viqarunnisa Noon School (98.15 points) secured the second and the third position respectively in results published on Saturday.
All but two of the 509 registered SSC examinees from Rajuk Uttara Model College secured the GPA-5 while 1355 out of 1420 examinees from Ideal School college and 1330 out of 1411 examinees from Viqarunnisa school achieved GPA-5.
The others among the top 20 schools are include Milestone college in Uttara, Motijheel model high school, Dhaka Residential Model College, Adamjee Cant Public School in Dhaka Cantonment, Motijheel Govt Boys High School, Shamsul Haque Khan School And College in Demra, Bindi Basini Govt Boys High School in Tangail, Holy Cross Girls High School in Tejgaon, Motigheel Govt Girls High School, Mymensingh Zilla School, Bir Shreshtha Noor Muhammad Public College in Dhaka, Govt Laaboratory High School in New Market Dhaka, Shaheed Police Smrity Schools and college in Kafrul of Dhaka, Mohammadpur Preperatory Higher Seccondary School, Mirzapur Cadet College in Tangail, Mymensingh Girls Cadet College in Mymensingh, St joseph high school in Mohammadpur of Dhaka, and Monipur High School ion Mirpur of Dhaka.
The Education Ministry ranks top 20 schools under each board on the basis of five academic standards–– the number of students registered with a school, percentage of regular students among those registered, percentage of successful students, the number of examinees scoring GPA-5, and the average GPA of an institution.
