Rajan murder: Kamrul brought back from KSA

The prime accused in the teenage boy Rajan murder case, Kamrul Islam, has been brought back in the country from Saudi Arabia on Thursday afternoon.
A senior police superintendent of Shahjalal International Airport armed police battalion, Alamgir Hossain Shimul, said a regular flight from Riyadh reached at Dhaka around 3:00pm with Kamrul onboard.
Kamrul is now staying in airport police custody later he would be sent to Sylhet court for Rajon murder trial, he said.
Earlier on October 12 a three-member team of police went to Saudi Arabia to bring back Kamrul.
On July 8, 13-year-old boy Sheikh Samiul Alam Rajon, son of Sheikh Azizur Rahman of Badeali village in Sadar upazila, was brutally tortured to death over a theft at Sundar Ali Market in Kumargaon area of Sylhet city.
The killers themselves took the video footage of the incident, which went viral on social networking site Facebook and video-sharing site Youtube which triggered a widespread outcry.
Quamrul Islam, 24, fled to Saudi Arabia after the incident where he was held by local Bangladeshis and then handed over to Jeddah police. The Saudi interior ministry earlier approved the extradition of Quamrul to Bangladesh. On July 21, Interpol issued a notice.
