New political alliance with BDB, KSJL kicks off

National Democratic Front (NDF), a new political alliance comprising Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB), Krishak Sramik Janata League (KSJL) and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Rob), started its journey on Thursday, aiming to emerge as an alternative political force in the country.

At a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal general secretary Abdul Malek Ratan read out the NDF’s joint communiqué.

BDB president AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury, KSJL president Kader Siddiqui and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal president ASM Abdur Rab were present on the occasion.

As per the joint communiqué, the NDF will extend their moral support to any programme demanding cancellation of the unilateral election.

About the alliance’s stance on opposition leader Khaleda Zia’s ‘March for Democracy’ towards the capital scheduled to be held on December 29, the alliance leaders said their moral support to the programme will remain until any slogans in favour of the war criminals is chanted.

The new political platform thinks no one will be able to hold the post of the Prime Minister not more than two consecutive terms and no one can be the head of the government and head of the party at the same time.

In the communiqué, the alliance clearly stated that they will remain vocal against war crimes, crimes against humanity, militancy, fundamentalism and communalism.

The country’s people got hostage to the two major parties –Awami League and BNP — it said adding most people do not support the two parties. “They (people) want to see an alternative political power with honest, competent and patriotic leadership. The new front was formed in light with people’s that hopes and aspirations.

The NDF is also in favour of balancing the power of the President and the Prime Minister.

The alliance also wants an independent Election Commission with the amendment to the current RPO.

The NDF demanded resignation of the current regime and cancellation of the January-5 10th parliamentary election schedule.

  1. The people of Bangladesh deserves new Leadership and new “blood” to run the country. Enough is enough. Last 42 years, this country just, simply went through “hell”. Thepeople of Bangladesh deserves better and it is high time that these bullshit about AL & BNP be rooted out from the very bottom and bring a new revolution to this country of 160 million people. The people needs good education, housing and jobs. The country needs good, honest, loyal, intellectual leaders to take over and run this country. There are a lot of capable, well educated, loyal people who could run this country very efficiently and take the country towards prosperity.
This bickering and “hair pulling” attitude of running the country should stop immediately. Both the women with their hooligan followers and family members should be taken in a ship and let go in the middle of the ocean. These people have caused enough damage to this beautiful country. They should be taken out, immediately. Why the 160 million people of Bangladesh are sitting in their houses, I have no idea. Why aren’t they on the streets to stop these killings and atrocities they are causing in the name of politics? What kind of politics is this? Do we call this Democracy? Is this what Joy, son of Sheikh Hasina, who is nobody there, learnt living in the USA? His ass should be kicked out of that country. He should not be allowed to talk at all.
Going back, hope the people of Bangladesh takes matters in their own hands and goes out on the streets against these hooligans who are burning this country into ashes and killing the innocent people. Give these thugs and thieves a teaching of their life time.
Need to see some fresh, educated, loyal, and intellectual ‘blood’ to run this prosperous country and give the people what they really and truly deserve.
    Because, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
