Information minister Hasanul Haq Inu addresses a human chain organised by Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, protesting at the recent high profile killings, in front of National Press Club in Dhaka on Thursday.

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal faction led by Hasanul Haq Inu, a partner of the Awami League-led alliance, at a protest rally in the city on Thursday expressed concern over the serial of killings in the country in recent times.
The city unit of the party organised the rally in front of National Press Club, where president of the party and information minister Hasanul Haq Inu, said that the militant forces were behind killings who remained under the umbrella of the ‘BNP and Jamaat.’
There was no alternative to controlling the militant forces to save the politics of the country, Inu said.
‘We must also take action against the patronisers of the militant forces,’ Inu added.
Shirin Akhter, general secretary of the party, called on the government to take drastic action against the killers and ensure their exemplary punishment.
Referring to the killings of Rajshahi University teacher Rezaul Karim Siddique and Sohagi Jahan Tonu, she said that the law enforces had failed to arrest the killers.
Chaired by joint secretary of the Dhaka City JSD, Nurul Akhter, the rally was addressed, among others, by vice presidents of the party, Shah Zikrul Ahmed, and Habibur Rahman Showkat, central leaders Nader Chowdhury, Shafiuddin Mollah, Anwarul Islam Babu and Obaidur Rahman Chunnu.

  1. Once again, the ruling club making allegations that are political. Sheikh Hasina already declared it was the act of BNP and Jamaat. Are they playing politics with people’s lives. Many people know the killers of Shagor Runi and yet the PM and her ministers are not catching the criminals.

TOO MANY KILLINGS. BLAMING BNP AND OTHERS WILL NOT ERASE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.

  2. When your Gano Bahinini had killed people in the post liberation period there were no trials, since then killings continued under different names. As the victims were common people there is no urge for the identification. You are all giving leap service.
