The full text of the High Court verdict declaring illegal the obligation of passing separately in objective, creative and practical tests for physics, biology and chemistry in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations was published on Wednesday.

Following a writ petition, the HC bench comprising Justice Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque and Justice ABM Altaf Hossain delivered the verdict on January 29.

Farah Tasnim Raisa, a student of New Model Degree College in the capital, filed the writ petition.

The court also directed for re-evaluating the results of Raisa after re-examining her exam papers.

Raisa sat for the HSC examinations last year. However, she was shown unsuccessful in a subject whose mark is split in three formats -– objective-25, creative-40 and practical-25.

A candidate has to pass separately in the three formats.

After hearing the writ petition, the HC issued a rule on October 7 last year.

  2. aber HSC Te 2 ta subject kharap hole ki sob subject notun kore dewa lagbe naki dui tai dewa lagbe. . . .bussiness student.
