Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Opposition Leader Khaleda Zia on Monday exchanged Eid greetings.
Prime minister’s protocol officer SK Akhter Hossain handed over the PM’s card to BNP chairperson’s assistant personal secretary M Suratuzzaman at her parliament office at noon, said sources at PM and opposition leader’s offices.
The holy Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to be celebrated on August 9.
Later, Suratuzzaman handed over Khaleda’s Eid card at the Prime Minister’s Office around 1:00pm, said BNP media wing officer Sayrul Kabir Khan to The Daily Star.
