Activists of Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal and Mahila Dal brought out a broom procession in the city on Tuesday, protesting HM Ershad’s participation in the ‘so-called’ all-party government betraying the nation.
The procession was brought out from the Court Point at noon and it ended at the same place after parading some major city streets.
Later, the activists of the BNP’s two associate bodies held a rally at the Court Point.
Speakers at the rally termed Jatiya Party chairman and former military dictator HM Ershad ‘national betrayer’, saying he joined the cabinet on Monday betraying the nation.
They also said the so-called all-party government is nothing but the reconstitution of the grand alliance government.

From the very outset the vehemently anti-Islamic Indian collaborators now running this puppet government actually wanted to arrest, harass, kill, remove all the counsels, depending the accused. Because the government wanted NO BANGLADESHI LAWYERS TO DEFEND THE ACCUSED who were already given death sentence in 1996 by the Ghadanik (COMMITTEE FOR THE EXTERMINATION OF BENGALI MUSLIM POLITICAL LEADERS WHO SUPPORTED THE UNITY OF PAKISTAN DURING THE CIVIL WAR OF 1971 WHEN BANGLADESH WAS NOT IN EXISTENCE!) in 1996
