At least 100 crude bombs were exploded near different polling centers in Sadar, Kolaroa and Tala upazilas early Sunday.
Mahiduzzaman, superintendent of police, said miscreants blasted around 100 crude bombs in Taltola, Agardari, Milbazar, Chandpur, Shibpur, Bhomra areas in sadar upazila under and Tala and Kolaroa upazilas from Saturday night till early Sunday.
Police fired several rounds of bullets in the air to bring the situation under control.
However, no causality was reported.
