Muhammed Zafar Iqbal and his wife Yasmeen Haque withdrew their resignation letters today after Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) authorities decided to go on with holding combined admission tests with Jessore Science & Technology University (JSTU).
SUST registrar Ishakatul Hossain confirmed The Daily Star about the withdrawal of the duo’s resignation.
The two professors announced their withdrawal decision before a gathering of students in front of the administrative building at 3:00pm following the academic council decision.
Earlier last night, the academician couple resigned after the university authorities postponed the combined admission test for the SUST and JSTU.
