Two youths have been killed in a rented flat where they used to live in Mirpur ‘s Shewrapara area in Dhaka, police say.
The victims have been identified as Abul Basar, 30, and ‘Rajib’, 28.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Tejgaon Division) Deputy Commissioner Biplab Kumar Sarker told bdnews24.com both of the bodies recovered from a flat in the Shamim Sharani area around Friday noon bore signs of wounds.
Biplab believes the murders took place on Friday.
He said the number of the four-storey building was 552. “They used to live in the 2ndfloor,” he added.
He said some other people used to live with them but could not reveal their identities.
”We did not find anyone there,” he said.
“Police are trying to ascertain the motive behind the murders,” he added.
