Bangladesh left arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman may have escaped the hindi lesson from Yuvraj Singh on stage but had to complete an amusing task with his head during the lively promotional event of Sunrisers Hyderabad yesterday.
The event hosted by the hilarious comedian Cyrus Broacha came to life when Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, known for being a huge movie-buff…someone who just can’t get enough of Bollywood called his teammates on stage to teach them some unforgettable dialogues, according to the video posted on Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Twitter account.
The 20-year-old lanky bowler from Satkhira was spared from Yuvi’s schooling but could not get himself out of a task where the Cutter Master had to use his knees to nudge cricket balls with his hands behind his back. The youthful exuberance of Mustafiz added the fire to the fireworks, and the laughter kept on rolling from the audience as well as from his teammates.
Yuvi called Eoin Morgan, Ben Cutting and Trent Boult on to the stage so the foreign recruits of Sunrisers can savour the reel taste of India firsthand…movies, masti and magic of Bollywood. First the Irish/Englishman tried to reproduce Amitabh Bachchan’s famous dialogue in Don. Ben Cutting got Dharmendra’s signature speech and poor Trent Boult had to break the bad news of unplanned pregnancy in the most clichéd words of India’s Tinsel town.
Mustafizur Rahman is the vital cog in Sunrisers Hyderabad’s bowling machine, and is the go-to bowler for skipper Warner when the going gets tough, especially at the death. The Fizz has taken eight wickets from seven matches in this year’s IPL. His economy rate of 6.53 is the lowest among the top ten wicket-takers, while his strike-rate is 19.50.
Don’t miss Bangladesh’s bowling wonder in action when his team Hyderabad takes on Gujarat Lions at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on May 06, 2016 (Friday) at 8:30 pm local time.
