Suranjit’s personal assistant Qamrul Haque said, “His physical condition has improved. He was transferred to cabin number 501 in the afternoon.”
“Doctors said he was out of danger. He will be able to leave the hospital after his condition improves further.”
Suranjit, a member of the Awami League’s Advisory Council, was hospitalised on Sunday night with irregular heartbeats. He was kept in CCU overnight for close observation.
On-duty doctor Mohammad Imran had told bdnews24.com that he was admitted with his “old problems, irregular heartbeats”.
After attending a meeting at Ganabhaban on Sunday evening, Suranjit had gone home. Later he was taken to LabAid as he was feeling very bad.
