Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has retained Selima Khatun and Mahbubul Hoque Shakil as her Special Assistants.
They had served as Hasina’s aides during her last term in office.
Khatun and Shakil have been graded 1 and 2 respectively, said the Ministry of Public Administration in two separate orders on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, Abdus Sobhan Golap and Ferdous Ahmed Khan were also appointed as her special assistants. They had also served Hasina as her aides during her last term in office.
Their contractual appointments will last until Hasina’s tenure or a change in her decision, the Public Administration Ministry had said.
Awami League’s Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif was a special assistant to the Prime Minister in her previous term.
He was, however, dropped four months before Hasina’s government’s tenure expired last year.
