Saudi Arabia will recruit 3,000 Bangladeshi workers in various professions this year, a top manpower buyer of the country told the Bangladeshi ambassador there.
Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Recruitment, Fahad Al Sulaim, made the promise to Golam Mosi, Bangladeshi ambassador to Saudi Arabia, at a meeting in Riyadh yesterday.
He praised Bangladeshi workers and assured of recruiting 3,000 more workers in various profession by 2017, said a press release issued from the local mission of Bangladesh.
Following the meeting, Ambassador Mosi also attended another meeting with the heads of local recruitment companies and urged them to recruit more Bangladeshi workers.
He stressed on training facilities to create more skilled labour in the country and assured that the Government of Bangladesh will assist in the training wholeheartedly.
