Plainclothes police recovered 30 crude bombs and arrested a retired junior army officer and his son in this connection from their Demra residence on Wednesday night.
Acting on a tip-off, a special DB team conducted a raid on the house at Pachchim Boxnagar under Demra Police Station at about 11:30pm.
The detectives recovered the 30 crude bombs and arrested Subeder Maj (retd) MA Matin and his son.
Police, however, could not give the name of Matin son.
