Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on Friday called upon people to reelect the Awami League to continue the flow of development in the country.
Highlighting the government’s successes in the last five years, he said: “The level of development we have achieved is unprecedented in the history of Bangladesh.”
Joy was speaking at a discussion titled “Vision 2021: Achievements of the past five years and manifestos for the next five years”.
Joy highlighted the achievements of the AL-led grand alliance government in different sectors, saying it has introduced 4,500 union information centres and 3G (third generation) mobile technology in the country during its tenure.
“The effects of digitization on the lifestyle and economy in the past five years are tremendous,” he said while speaking at the event organised by Suchinta at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital.
