Recruitment of 1749 officials through the 35th BCS will be announced in a circular soon, Parliament was told on Sunday.
State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadeq disclosed this in reply to a written question of independent MP Dr Md Rustum Ali Faraji.
She informed the House that in the current fiscal (2013-14), the government has appointed 1627 officials in different cadres through the 32nd BCS (Special).
The state minister also mentioned that the appointment process of 8377 candidates of the 33rd BCS is at the final stage while the preliminary examination of the 34th BCS has been taken.
The government intends to appoint 15 second class officers, 70 Class III employees and 26 Class IV employees during the remaining of the current fiscal, she said.
