The government has appointed GM Jainal Abedin Bhuiyan, an additional secretary who is now on post-retirement leave (PRL), as the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) chairman.
Moreover, M Shefaque Ahmed has been appointed as the chairman of Insurance Development & Regulatory Authority (IDRA) for three years.
The public administration ministry has issued two separate orders regarding the matter on Tuesday afternoon.
GM Jainal Abedin Bhuyan will be the replacement of Engineer Nurul Huda, whose tenure will expire on April 21.
The orders will be effective from their joining date.
