A Dhaka metropolitan magistrate on Wednesday asked police to submit the report of the progress of investigation into July 1 Gulshan attack case by August 24.
Magistrate Snigdha Rani Chakrabarty passed the order when police pressed documents of the case before her court.
None was, however, produced before the court or shown arrested in the case.
On July 4, police lodged a case with Gulshan police station under anti-terrorism act in connection with the attack that killed 20 hostages, mostly foreign nationals.
Six militant suspects were also killed in law enforcers’ raid on the following morning to end the hostage crisis.
Police named five of the attackers and some other unidentified people as accused in the case.
