Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has returned to the country after a five-day visit to China.
The aircraft carrying her landed at the Shahjalal Internationla Airport in Dhaka around 2.15 pm on Wednesday.
Earlier, she boarded a special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from Beijing.
Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin saw Hasina off at the Beijing International Airport.
The prime minister attended a banquet at Presidential Hotel in Beijing on Tuesday night arranged by the Bangladesh embassy in her honour.
There she enjoyed a cultural event organised by Bangla department students of Communication University of China.
The two countries inked two deals, two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) and two exchanges of notes during the visit of the prime minister.
On Monday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held official talks with her Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.
Dhaka and Beijing signed an agreement to commission a coal-based power plant in Bangladesh and agreed to construct a special economic zone for China in Bangladesh after the talks.
Bangladesh also signed an MoU with China for building an underwater tunnel on the Karnaphuli river at $1 billion.
On Tuesday, the Bangladesh Garment Manufactures and Exporters Association signed an MoU with China’s Orion International Holding Company to set up a garment village in Munshiganj’s Gazaria Upazila.
