BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Saturday criticized the incumbent government in her remarks after exchanging Eid greetings with the diplomats and the general citizens at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city.
She said people at home are not safe and that Sheikh Hasina’s government continues to kidnap and kill people.
She said it was sad that the relatives fly to foreign countries to meet their near and dear ones during such Eid occasion.
‘People of the country have become helpless,’ she said.
Everything has been politicized. Police forces have become partisan. People who will save lives are taking lives, she observed.
