A conference of human rights activists is to be held at RDF Auditorium in Bargun
National Human Rights Commission Chairman Dr Mizanur Rahman urged the people of all walks to come forward to protect human rights.
He said: “The recent abductions, disappearances and murder spree has created panic among the people.”
He made the call while addressing a two-day workshop on Human Rights at Hotel Kuakata Inn in Kuakata on Friday.
The programme was jointly organized by NHRC and Faria Lara Foundation.
Human rights activists, volunteers, lawyers and journalists participated in the workshop.
A conference of human rights activists would be held at RDF Auditorium in Barguna on Saturday as the part of the workshop.
