Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman underwent a surgery on his left shoulder today at the BUPA Cromwell Hospital in London. The operation was performed by renowned shoulder surgeon Dr Andrew Wallace.
BCB President Nazmul Hassan, MP visited the paceman at the hospital and was present there until the the end of the surgery.
BCB’s senior physician Dr Debashis Chowdhury informed from London that the surgery went well: “The procedure began around 16h00 local time (22h00 BST) and took about an hour to finish. The type two SLAP tear of his left shoulder has been repaired.
“Mustafiz could be released from hospital tomorrow (Friday) and we will get a clearer idea about the follow up and rehab over the next couple of days.”
