Ministry: Keep medical coaching centres closed

The Health Ministry has asked the police to ensure that all medical coaching centres remains closed till the medical admission test begins on October 24.

The ministry sent a letter to the police department in this regard on Tuesday.

Health Secretary MM Niaz Uddin said: “The ministry has asked the police to ensure that all the coaching centres are kept closed until the medical admission test ends in a move to ensure transparency during the exam.”

“Twenty two inspection teams have also been formed to monitor the admission test processes. They will be visiting the examinations’ centres.”

Earlier, several students were caught for cheating in the admission tests of Dhaka University and Jahangirnagar University.
