Academics, journalists and cultural activists on Friday said medical admission test should be taken under a public university as health ministry failed to stop repeated question leak.
They expected that the government would leave no stone unturned in uprooting corrupt elements from the academic arena as the career and credibility of genuine students were dependent on it.
They also demanded holding of fresh test for enrolling students in the MBBS and BDS courses of the medical and dental colleges after scraping the recently held test and the ongoing admission process.
They made the demand at a solidarity rally in front of National Museum in the capital in the afternoon.
