Khaleda wants to return to power with Jamaat, Hefajat

Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu on Sunday said opposition leader Khaleda Zia wants to go to power along with anti-state forces like Jamaat-e-Islami and Hefajat-e-Islam.

“If you (people) want disrespect of women, then you could join Khaleda Zia. If you want the dignity of women and good governance in the country, then come with Sheikh Hasina,” he said.

The minister said this while addressing a meeting at the Public Hall Auditorium of the district organised by district unit of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal.

“Khaleda Zia only knows how to make plans to kill her opponents. Venom is flowing through her veins as she has connection with the militancy. She patronises militancy and terrorism. The people of the country don’t want to see her in power any more,” Inu said.

Inu urged Khaleda, also the former premier, to boycott Hefajat, Jamaat and her two sons. “If I were you, I would have brought them under the ambit of the law.”

Mentioning that Khaleda Zia failed to save the killers of Bangabandhu, Inu said Khaleda Zia wants to save the war criminals taking Jamaat and Hefajat on her side at a time when the whole nation are united to execute the verdicts against the war criminals.

“But her desire wouldn’t be fulfilled….the verdicts will be executed on Bangladesh soil,” Inu added.
