Opposition chief Khaleda Zia starts her two-day tour of violence-hit Bogra and Joypurhat districts on Saturday afternoon.
The BNP Chairperson’s Press Secretary Maruf Kamal Khan said she would start from her Gulshan office at 4pm and stay overnight at Bogra Circuit House.
On her way to Joypurhat the next morning, the Khaleda will address a mourning rally at Matidali Biman intersection and Shibganj in Bogra Sadar upazila.
She will also meet the families of those killed in recent violence triggered by the death sentence of Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee for war-time atrocities in 1971.
In Joypurhat, the former Prime Minister will see families of violence victims and address another rally at Shalaiko High School ground at Panchbibi upazila.
On her way back to Bogra from Joypurhat, she will visit the Hindu temples and houses damaged allegedly by Jamaat supporters at Rameswarpur and Sonara unions of Gabtoli upazila.
The BNP chief will meet the bereaved families at Shahjahanpur upazila in Bogra and deliver speech at a rally there in the afternoon.
Khaleda will start for Dhaka the same night.
The BNP chief postponed her two-day trip to Bogra and Joypurhat for a day following the death of President Zillur Rahman.

Scores of people were killed in the recent violence following the Feb 28 verdict of Sayedee.
