BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has performed Umrah.
She was accompanied by her elder son, Tarique Rahman, his wife and daughter.
Her Press Secretary Maruf Kamal Khan said the BNP chief completed Umrah formalities in the early hours of Wednesday.
Khaleda and her family went to perform Umrah at the invitation of Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
She left Dhaka on Saturday night and her son BNP Senior Vice-Chairperson Tarique joined her in Dubai.
Tarique, accused in a number of cases at home, has been staying in London since 2008 after securing bail from the Supreme Court.
It was their second meeting since then.
Khaleda visited the shrine of Prophet Muhammad on Monday.
Hundreds of BNP supporters turned up at Medinah’s international airport to bid farewell to the party chief and her son.
Party supporters waited at Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport to greet them.
The BNP chairperson is scheduled to return home on July 26.
