BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Friday expressed deep gratitude to the Almighty Allah over the rescue of garment worker Reshma alive from the debris of Savar Rana Plaza that collapsed on April 24.
In a message, the BNP chief also warmly congratulated all the rescuers engaged in pulling out Reshma from the debris.
Rescuers retrieved Reshma of Ghoraghat upazila in Dinajpur district alive from the rubble around 4:26 pm on Friday, nearly 391 hours after the building crashed down, claiming over a thousand lives.
Khaleda, also leader of the opposition in parliament, offered a munajat to Allah seeking the early recovery of Reshma, who miraculously survived with the immense divine blessings and grace of the Almighty Allah after remaining trapped for 17 days under the huge rubble of the collapsed Rana Plaza.
She also prayed for salvation of the departed souls of over a thousand people killed in the tragedy and conveyed her deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
The former premier also wished early recovery of those rescued from the wreckage of the crashed building.
