Khaleda also thanks Kazi Zafar for joining the 18-party alliance
BNP Chairperson khaleda Zia has said the 18-party alliance has turned to 19-party with today’s joining of Kazi Zafar-led Jatiya Party.
She said so while addressing the media at her Gulshan office in the capital on Saturday evening.
Kazi Zafar joined the 18-party alliance through presenting flowers to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan office in the evening.
Khaleda claimed that the “farcical” election of January 5 proved that no fair election can be possible under the current government.
Khaleda said: “The Awami League is dreaming to be in the regime for next five years, but it will not last long.”
She asks government to refrain from any more nepotism.
Khaleda also thanked Kazi Zafar for joining the 18-party alliance.
“Corruption and nepotism has made the whole country a disdain,” she claimed.
She alleged: “Immense nepotism and corruption of the government has repelled all the foreign investors and there was no investment over the last five years.”
